From late 1999 until April 2004, the PFS
Program was active in eight Central and Eastern (CEE) countries that joined the
European Union (EU) on May 1, 2004: Czech
Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovak Republic and Slovenia. Under
a separate grant from the United States Department of State, the PFS Program
remained active in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania until March 31, 2005. |
